Roberts, Carolynn Ruth, age 85, passed away while surrounded by family at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale on Monday, November 16, 2009. She was born on February 2, 1924 to Hans and Selma Johnson. She lived in Minnesota and Pennsylvania before moving to Arizona where she remained a resident for over 50 years. She was married to Hubert E Roberts and together they owned and operated their own business, Flexon 701. She was a prominent member of the Sunnyslope community. Survivors include her daughter Trudy Irvine Thompson; grandsons Damon W Irvine (Michelle) Glendale, AZ, Derrick J Irvine, Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter Kelly L Irvine-Minyard (Jason) Peoria, AZ; great-grandchildren Nick, Torian, Montana, Anastasia, Elias, Ivy, and Ezra. She was preceded in death by her spouse Hubert E Roberts; grandson Scott E Miller. She will be remembered and missed by all that knew her. May she rest in peace.
