For years she taught a Bible school class and was a faithful worker in the women's organization.

When money was received from her farm, one tenth was set aside for the Lord's work and was devoted to both Home and Foreign missions. Mrs Lindsey loved the church and was always found in the services until failing health made it impossible for her to be present.

Services were held March 5 at the Church of Christ in New Market. Rev I.E. Stickelman officiating. Donald Godfrey sang with Opal Brown pianist. By request of the deceased the congregation sang "Sweet Hour of Prayer." Casket bearers were Carl Hughes, R.R. Anderson, Thomas Harris, Everett Godfrey, Merle Harland and Robert Malcom.
