Carl Anthony "Tony" Treppard, 47, of Chattanooga, TN passed away in Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, November 14, 2009.
Tony was born in Chattanooga, TN October 19, 1962, and graduated from Hixson High School in 1981. After graduation, he served 4 years in the United States Marine Corp and was wounded in the terrorist attack on Beirut Lebanon in 1983. He was a member of IBEW Local 175 and worked as an electrician/lineman for 20 years. He enjoyed sports such as sky-diving, white water rafting, and umpired fast pitch softball for a number of years.
Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Margaret Morris and John O. Treppard.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Marie; son, Matthew Charles; parents, Carl and Pat Treppard; brother, Michael, all from Chattanooga, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and John Gilluly of Austin, TX; nieces, Emma and Maggie Gilluly; nephews: Jake and Charlie Gilluly, and James and Alex Treppard.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel with a prayer service at 8:00 p.m. with Father Mike Creson officiating.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Evans officiating.
Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
