James Preston "J.P." Coleman Sr., 76, of Biloxi died Tuesday in Biloxi. Visitors may call tonight from 5:30 until 10 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at LeMoyne Blvd. Baptist Church in North Biloxi, where visitors may call an hour before services. Burial will follow in the Biloxi Cemetery. Mr. Coleman was a route salesman for the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and a member of LeMoyne Blvd. Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Coleman. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mary Alice Carvin of Woolmarket, Mrs. Jo Ann Lehman of Biloxi, Mrs. Jean Harris and Mrs. Brenda McCormick, both of Ocean Springs; four sons, Jerry Wayne Coleman of Ocean Springs, Preston Coleman Jr., Lennis Leo Coleman and Smith Gerald Coleman Sr., all of Biloxi; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Parker of Benndale, Mrs. Lillie Breland, Mrs. Ruby Bostick, both of Wiggins; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
