Deborah J. 'Debbie' McMillin
Deborah J. "Debbie" McMillin, 48, of San Jose, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2006, at her mother's residence in Salinas.
She was born Aug. 17, 1957, in Los Angeles. Debbie was devoted to her family. She studied early childhood education and was a preschool teacher. She loved her students like her family. She appreciated the arts and nature. She also enjoyed tap dancing, sewing and other needle crafts. Debbie could enter a quiet room and quickly change it into a bustling, happy place.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph McMillin, on Sunday, May 21, 2006; and brother, Daniel McMillin.
Survivors:Sons, Jason and Bruce Hearnsberger of San Jose; granddaughter, Kaily Hearnsberger of San Jose; mother, Jewel McMillin of Salinas; brother, Michael (Caroline) McMillin of Salinas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
Celebration of life:2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 4, at the family home in Salinas. Debbie's father, Joseph, passed away on Sunday, May 21. A celebration of both their lives will be held.
