Our kind, beloved and most amazing mother, grandmother and sister, Janice Betts Davis, age 63, died at her home in Joseph on November 12, 2009.
She was born January 26, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of John Forster and Josephine Picco Betts. She graduated from Highland High School, Class of 1964. He attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and Brigham Young University in Provo.

She married Dee Roy Bangerter, November 3, 1966 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were later divorced.


She married Ronald Lee Davis, April 25, 1997 in Bullhead City, Arizona. He died August 26, 2005.


Janice taught Turning Point and worked at the Department of Work Force Services for seventeen years. She had many hobbies, including sewing, needlework and puzzles.


For many of us, Janice is one of the most amazing women we have ever known. She has impacted many lives and will be greatly missed.


She is survived by her children: Johnathan Bangerter, Eddie Bangerter, Ryan Bangerter and Travis Bangerter, all of Salt Lake City; Heather Woodbury of Henderson, Nevada and Wendy Hall of Rawlings, Wyoming; 24 grandchildren; sisters and brother: JoAnn Betts, Donna Hanson, Kay Findlay, all of Richfield; Carol Sandquist of Salt Lake City and Forster Betts of West Valley City; step-children: Rhonda Hamilton of Riverton, Wyoming and Tony Davis of Colorado.


Memorial Services will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. at the Assembly of God Church, 110 North 300 East in Richfield.


Burial will be in Salt Lake City. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
