Nell Duplechin Duhon

SULPHUR — Funeral service for Mrs. Nell Duplechin Duhon, 75, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Robison Funeral Home Chapel, 107 West Napoleon St. Father Brian Schloth, M.S., will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m.-9 p.m. today, with rosary at 6 p.m., and from 8 a.m. Friday.
Mrs. Duhon passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, at 8:45 p.m. in a Sulphur hospital. She was native of Basile and a lifelong resident of Sulphur. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur and the VFW Post 8107 Ladies Auxiliary in Sulphur. Mrs. Duhon retired in 1984 from West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital after 20 years of service as a nurse's aide.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Morse; two grandsons, Joey Morse and Derek Fontenot; and one granddaughter, Dorothy Nell Laxson.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mr. Joseph C. Duhon of Sulphur; one son, of Sulphur; four daughters, all of Sulphur; one brother; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
