Mr. Duhon passed away at
9:14 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4,
in Sulphur. He was native of
Big Lake, and a lifelong resident
of Sulphur. He was a
Navy veteran and served in
World War II. He was a
member of Our Lady of
Prompt Succor Catholic
Church in Sulphur, VFW Post
8107 in Sulphur, where he
was past post commander
and American Legion Post
179. Mr. Joe was the former
owner of Appliance Service
and formerly was employed
by Ike's Radio & T.V.
He was preceded in death
by his wife, Nell Duplechin
Duhon; one daughter, Cindy
Morse; two grandsons, Joey
Morse and Derek Fontenot;
and one granddaughter,
Dorothy Nell Laxson.
Survivors include one son,
of Sulphur; four daughters,
all of Sulphur; three
brothers; 17 grandchildren;
18 great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-granddaughter.
