∼W. T. Ard, of Silsbee, son of Aaron Ard and Loma Ard Dryden, departed this life at 11:30 pm Sunday at Avalon Place Nursing Home in Kirbyville.
He had resided in Silsbee most of his life and was retired from Texas State Highway Department.
His father, mother, brothers, J. P. and O. B. Ard, and sisters, Lillie Dryden Williams and Beatrice Peck, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Wynston Troy Ard and his ex-wife Dee Ard; daughter Terri Gooley and husband Rick; brothers D. C. Ard, L. C. Dryden and wife Mary and Jimmy Dryden; sister Ruby Crabtree and husband Robert; grandsons Jared and Chaise Gooley; granddaughters Bobbi and Melissa Schwegler and many nieces and nephews.
Services at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery.
