Mrs Elizabeth J Studer wife of Mr John Studer died at the family home in Franklin Township Sunday night last of typhoid fever. Her age was about 45 years. Kind and gentle by nature and possessed of a true Christian spirit, Mrs Studer embodied in her character all that is noblest and best in womanhood and her pleasant and genial disposition won for her the love and esteem of all among whom in life she mingled. She was the mother of six children one of whom a little daughter preceded her to the spirit land. Five children four sons and one daughter with the stricken husband remain to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and loving mother. On Tuesday the remains were followed by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends to St Paul Lutheran Church of which Mrs Studer had long been a consistent member, where appropriate and impressive funeral services were conducted by the Pastor Rev Gephart. At the conclusion of which interment was made in the burial ground adjoining the church.
