Alice Marie Abbott, 94, of Rochester, N.Y., formerly of Derry, died July 7 in Rochester. She was born Jan. 24, 1910, in Cherry Hill, Pa., the daughter of Orin A. and Cecelia Corbett Abbott. She was a nursing supervisor for the Monroe County Health Department.
She was a graduate of Derry Township High School and the University of Buffalo and was a member of St. Mark's and St. John's Episcopal Church in Rochester.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank O. and Charles G.

She is survived by her niece, Brenda A. Bevan, and her nephew, F. Allen Abbott and wife, Jolene, of Latrobe;

Also grandnieces, Christine Kikel and husband, Scott, Lynda Mayes and husband, Tony, all of Latrobe, Brandi Carnathan and husband, Brian, of Jeannette, and Stacey Abbott, of Mongolia and Latrobe; her sister-in-law, Catherine Inselmini Abbott, of Latrobe.

Services and interment were held Saturday in Coles Cemetery, Derry, with Pastor Ronald Durika officiating. Quinslik Funeral Home, Derry, was in charge of arrangements.
