Capt. Anderson Drowned
----------
Capt. B. A. Anderson, owner and master of the schooner Iris, of Washington Island, was drowned in Milwaukee harbor on Friday afternoon last week. The captain was on board his vessel when he fell overboard, and though his struggles and cries for help brought prompt assistance the unfortunate man was so much exhausted that he died a few hours afterwards at the Emergency hospital, where he had been conveyed in the interval.

The remains were taken to Washington Island for burial. He was greatly respected by everybody who knew him, and his tragic fate will cause general sorrow.
