Adrienne Stockstill Magee, age 28, and her son Ashton "Zach" Magee, age 5, died on April 18, 2007. They were victims of domestic violence.
Adrienne was an exceptionally loving and devoted mother to her children, and she patiently cared for countless other children during the three years that she taught at the Children's Chalet in Mandeville, LA.
Adrienne was the beloved daughter of Janet Soileau Fontenot, Jackie Stockstill, who was her biological father, and Joseph Fontenot, who was her dad. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Ashleigh and Aleisha Magee; six siblings, Cindy, Desiree, Vincent, Jason, Richard, and Jarrett; grandfather, Eric Soileau; and grandmother, Claudine Varnado. She was preceeded in death by her grandmother, Bessie Soileau, and grandfather, August Varnado.
Funeral services were held on April 25, 2007, at the First Baptist Church of Mandeville. Adrienne and her son were laid to rest in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrahan, LA.
