Daughter of John Ransom & Louella (Evans) Odle. Sudie was single and never married.

Blind from birth as were two of her brother's George Washington Odle and Joseph "Armster" Odle.

Sudie was a much sought after pianist for many of the Churches in Northeast, Mississippi as well as nearby communities in Tennesse and Alabama.

The three siblings also owned a broom and "hooked rag rug" manufacturing business that was located next door to their home on Megg Street in Corinth. They made and sold brooms and "hooked rag rugs" to the local residents and business owners in the area.
