Mrs. Tena Higbea, 62, of Adams township, wife of John Higbea, died at 3:30 a.m. today at the home, nine and one half miles northeast of Defiance. She had been ailing three years and bedfast since Sept 4 with carci­noma. The body has been returned to the Higbea residence. It will be taken back to the Mansfield funeral home Friday morning for service there at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Walter Linebrink will officiate. Burial will be in the Evansport cemetery. Mrs. Higbea was born in Tiffin township Oct. 30, 1877, and had spent her entire life in this county. She and Mr. Higbea were married Sept. 12, 1900. Surviving are the husband; two sons, Orville J. at home and Donald of Adams township; three brothers, Jacob, Alfred and Ernest Linebrink, all of Tiffin township; four sisters, Miss Inez Linebrink, Tiffin townhip, Miss Nora Linebrink, Chicago, Mrs. Edith Replogle, Evansport, and Mrs. Sarah Bohner, Montpelier and two grandchildren, Carl Dean and Carol Jean Hig­bea of Adams township.
