Leroy Allen---Bristol Nov. 4 --Funeral Services for Leroy Allen, of Bridgewater, near here, we're held today at his late home on Bristol Pike. Services were later held at the Bensalem A.M.E. church with Rev. J. O. Mackall, of Bristol, officiating.
The deceased was 101 years of age, having resided in this part of the county for over 60 years. He died on Friday night after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Allen was the oldest voter in Bensalem. He was born in Leesburg, Va. in 1830, and served in the Civil War. He is survived by two daughters and one son. Burial will be in the Bensalem A.M.E. cemetery. ------November 4, 1931 Trenton Evening Times (Trenton, New Jersey)
