Funeral services for Army Spec. 4 Carl Rodman Hinkle, Jeffersonville, who was killed in non hostile action in Vietnam, will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, Louisville, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Hinkle, 22, died in Saigon Dec. 29 after being shot accidentally by a member of his military unit, according to Army officials.
A native of Louisville, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Hinkle, 319 Mary Street; two brothers, Gary Lee and Dennis Wayne, and a sister Mrs. Donna Lynn combs, all of Jeffersonville.
