Born in Hart County, GA on December 27, 1932, Mrs. Crain was a daughter of the late Curtis Smith Addison and Grace Harper Addison. She was a 1950 graduate of Girls' High School and attended Lee College in Cleveland, TN. She was a retired realtor with All Star-Century 21 and, in later years, was an Avon Sales Representative. Mrs. Crain was a very active member of the Church of the First Born, having served as the director of music for many years; and, was a former member and church secretary of McDuffie Street Church of God.
Survivors include her husband of the home; daughter Diane Crain; son, Philip Crain; granddaughter, Katie Crain and sister, Joann Addison Campbell, all of Anderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Curtis Addison and Charles Edward Addison and sister, Frances Addison McIntosh.
