DAKOTA LEVI TUFF JORDAN, son of Andy and Melissa Jordan, was born July 21, 1993, in Joplin, Missouri, and departed this life October 15, 2009, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixteen years.

He was a student at Lebanon High School.

He had a variety of hobbies. Dakota enjoyed playing games on his play station, watching movies, especially starring John Wayne and listening to Elvis Presley music. He was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and rarely missed watching a game on television. However, he most treasured the time spent with his family and friends. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Dakota leaves to mourn his passing, his parents Andy and Melissa Jordan; one sister, Makenna Jordan, all of the home; grandparents, Leo and Ruby Berens of Selby, SD and Chuck and Ellen Jordan of Lebanon; great-grandmother, Esther Jordan; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Charles Jordan; great-grandparents, Hazel and Oliver Mizer, Irene and Erroll Hicks and Francis Hudson.

Although Dakota battled Muscular Dystrophy, he was such an inspiration and touched the lives of so many. His body may have been weak, but his spirit was very strong.

Dakota was adored by his friends and family. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him will not forget the unmatched zest for life he had. His contagious laughter will be remembered and his smile treasured forever. He will be greatly missed.
