Edward E. Harnish, 67, of 224 W. Liberty St., died Saturday evening in Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital after a two year illness. He was the husband of Gladys Binkley Harnish. He was affiliated with Lancaster Auto Auction for a number of years. Prior to that, he was a bus driver for Conestoga Transportation Company. He was a member of St. John Episcopal Church. Born in Lancaster, he was a son of Ethel Davis Harnish, Lancaster, and the late David J. Harnish. In addition to his widow and mother, he is survived by a son, Edward E. Harnish Jr., Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Suzanne H., wife of Samuel Armer, Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Heist and Dorothy, wife of William Monyer, both of Lancaster.
