Anna Marie Bredeson

JUNCTION CITY — A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Christ Center in Junction City, for Anna Marie Bredeson of Junction City, who died Oct. 9 of age-related causes. She was 97.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Burial will be in a private service at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene.

She was born April 24, 1912, in Sharon, N.D., to Ole and Bertha Hagan Rasmussen. She married Ellsworth Bredeson on Aug. 4, 1935, in Sisseton, S.D. He died in March 1982.

She completed fifth grade and later was licensed as a beautician. She worked as a beautician and owned many beauty shops.

Survivors include a daughter, Janice Joslin of Marion, Iowa; a son, Robert Bredeson of Junction City; and 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A son, Duane Bredeson, and a grandson, Todd Geortel, died previously.
