David M. Rutt died at his home in Strasburg township on Sunday night in his seventieth year, death resulting from pneumonia after a brief illness. The deceased had been a farmer by occupation and was a member of the Mennonite Church for a period of thirty-seven years. He was twice married. His first wife was Miss Anna Kreider, of Millersville, and by this marriage the following children survive: Christian K., Manor township; Mrs. Amos Stauffer, Manheim township; Benjamin K., West Lampeter township. His second wife was Miss Mary A. Kendig, who also survives in addition to the following children: Mrs. Harry Hess, Strasburg; David K., Strasburg; Frances, at home. (Lancaster New Era - Apr 10, 1911)
