Virginia Betsy Cardwell

Virginia Betsy Cardwell, age 88, passed away on September 28, 2009 after a struggle with cancer. Virginia was born on March 31, 1921 in a small town in Mississippi to Charles and Ruth Jamison. She spent her childhood and attended schools in Ripley, MS. She married Wally Cardwell on March 15, 1941 in Olathe, CO, he survives. Virginia was a member of the Jehovah's Witness Church. Her interests included sewing and playing the violin. Virginia is survived by her husband, Wally, and sisters, Mildred, Lola, Dorthy and Sue. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Lily and Leta. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Slade Connell officiating. Burial will be at the Olathe Cemetery, in Olathe, CO. Snell-McLean Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
