Judith Combs Morris, 3, died in a hospital here tonight three hours after she was struck by an automobile in front of her home.
James L. Chasteen, Deputy Corner, said that death was due to a fractured skull, broken neck and internal injuries.
The Child did not regain consciousness after she was admitted to the hospital.
Patrolman Gilbert Cravens said the the child was struck about 6:30 p. m. by an automobile driven by Milford W. Hopkins, 27.
Hopkins was charged with manslaughter and he posted $1,000 bond to appear in Police Court tomorrow.
The child was the daughter of Mrs. Vivian Combs Morris and R. E. Morris
