The Paris News-Sun, May 14, 1995-p.10A- Mrs. Josie Edna Blankenship of Cooper died Thursday, May 11, 1995, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center in Paris. Funeral services were held at 10AM Saturday, May 13, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Van George officiating and burial in Old Klondike Cemetery. Mrs. Blankenship was born in Delta County Jan. 13, 1900. She was the daughter of Tom and Mary Williams. She worked as a home health care provider for several years. Her husband, Will Blankenship preceded her in death Dec. 30, 1960. Survivors include two sons, Travis Blankenship of Amarillo and R.D. Blankenship of Bonham; a daughter, Wilma Crouch of Dallas; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The same article appeared in the Cooper Review May 18, 1995. Her children were Dwight Louis, Travis R, R.d. and Wilma Lorene.
