Janet Alma Myers, 91, Altoona, died Tuesday morning at Altoona Center for Nursing Care. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Walter and Maude (Fickes) Gesser. She married James S. Myers in 1943 in Altoona. He preceded her in death in 1986. Surviving are three children: Kenneth J. of Edison, N.J., Gene L. (Kim) of Warner Robbins, Ga., and Judith H. Suppa of Altoona; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Janet attended Garden Heights United Methodist Church. A private viewing and service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Tom Smith officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Altoona. Arrangements are by Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
