Daughter of Horatio Nelson Bogart (1807-1865) and Lucy Elizabeth Croscup Bogart Gibson Bennett Davis (1814-1909).

First marriage was to Aaron Clark on 5 July 1849, in New Brunswick, Saint John, Canada. They had either 4 or 5 children, 3 lived to adulthood:

(Their first son, Charles, died on 3 Jan 1858 in Grass Valley, CA).

Second husband, John M. Days, was a close family friend who lived with the Clark family (in Grass Valley and San Francisco) from the mid-1860's until Aaron's death in Feb 1893. Martha married John in Oct 1893. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Summerland, CA where they lived until the end of their lives.

Martha's third husband was widower Amariah "Homer" Buell Wheelock. They married in 1903. Homer is buried with his third wife, Jennie, in this same cemetery.
