Memorial Obituary
LEWIS – John O. Lewis, husband of Hettie Lewis of 1719 Newport Ave., passed away June 18, 1963. He was a member of BPOE No. 672, and is survived by a son, David C. Lewis of Lakewood; a brother, Eph Lewis and sister, Mrs. Julia Short, both of Colorado, and sister, Mrs. Hattie Sanders of Kentucky, also six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services Thursdays 10 a.m. at Wendell P. Cabot & Sons Chapel, 27 Chestnut St.,Conducted by the officers and members of Pasadena Elks Lodge. Interment Rose Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pasadena Elks Cerebral Palsy Fund.
