Daughter of Otto and Adeline (Aldrich) Kiecker. She grew up in the Lake Lillian area, was baptized at Lake Lillian Baptist Church and attended rural school. On October 12, 1935, she was married to Cecil Johnson. They farmed and lived in East Lake Lillian Township until 1980 when they retired and moved to Willmar. Cecil died in 1992 and then in 1995 she entered the Valley Brook Senior Home. She was an active member of Lake Lillian Baptist Church and was noted for her nice smile and service to her family.
She is survived by her children Dorothy Ann (Harvey) Allen of Lake Lillian, Algene (Barb) Johnson of Bird Island and Gerie (Tom) Benson of Eden Prairie; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are relatives, Jewell Kiecker of Willmar, Beatrice (Lester) Lundquist of Lake Lillian, Marcella Mittelstadt of California, Deloris (Leonard) Tipka of Hutchinson, Ardell Johnson of Minneapolis, Marlys (Vern) Janssen of Eden Prairie and Lorraine Johnson of Lake Lillian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, (William, Herman, Louie and Adolph), two sisters (Minnie and Clara), one son (Harvey) and one grandson (Jerrit Johnson).
