OLA B. MUDD, 81, of 1568 E. Stewart, Homer Township, died Wednesday Oct. 19, 1988, at the Midland Hospital Center.

She was born Jan. 5, 1907 in Midland. The daughter of the late Harvey and Laura (Cobb) Melchi. She attended Midland Schools.

The former Ola B. Melchi, married Irvin G. Mudd, August 11, 1929, in Laporte. Mr. Mudd died Oct. 17, 1975. She was a member of the Gordonville Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Eleanore and Bob Cornelius of midland, Marilyn and Gerald Brisson also of midland and Phyllis and Larry Anthony of Mount Pleasant; two brothers, Charles and Margie Melchi of Sanford and Vernon Melchi of Sanford; three sister, Dorothy and Burlis Wofley of Florida, Grace and Ernie Yoder of Midland and margarita and Henry Reist of Midland; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son and two brothers.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., Friday Oct. 21, 1988, from the Ware-Smith-Woolever and Co. Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler. Rev. Charles W. Keyworth of the Gordonville Methodist Church and Rev. James Shanks of the Floyd Church of God will officiate. Burial will be in the Homer Township Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home 3-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The family will be present at the funeral home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
