A farmer and carpenter, he was a native of Jonesboro, but had lived most of his life in Delaware County, He was a member of the the Industry EUB Church and the Delaware County Farm Bureau.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Industry EUB Church with the Rev. L. G. D. Wertz offiating.Burial will be in the Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Friend may call at the residence after 2 p.m. Sunday or at the Church an hour before services Monday. The Richman-Prillaman Funeral Home, Yorktown, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; two sisters, Mrs. Perry Lyons, Gaston, and Mrs. Roy Sutton, Muncie; four brothers, James and Louis, Wabash, Oscar, in Michigan, and Charles, in Illinios; and several nieces and nephews.
