John Marvin
John B. Marvin, 90 of Leonard Run, Limestone, NY died Tuesday at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug 27, 1905, in Limestone, a son of Boney and Ursula Freda "Tillie" Younger Marvin. On March 15, 1924, in Wyoming, PA, he married Lillie Mae Schneider, who died Oct 16, 1895.
Mr. Marvin had attended schools in Limestone.
He was employed as an oil field worker for Maxwell Oil Co., in Derrick City until his retirement in 1970.
Surviving are son Richard Marvin; daughters Shirley Ostrander, Ann Boles, Dawn Sanborn, Margaret Griffin, Victoria Kessell and Eve Kunert; 31 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; one great-treat grandson; sister Thelma Fugali and several nieces and nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, John B. Marvin, Jr; daughter Janice Baldwin and one brother.
Committal and burial services will be in Limestone Cemetery.
