John William Little died Tuesday, February 2, 1943, at his home at 43 Webster Street, following a lingering illness. He was a son of the late Ezra Jacob and Georgiann Davis Little and was aged 74 years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Emma Nagel, and two sons and daughters as follows: Mrs. Pearl Gesell, Smallwood, Miss Elsie Conaway Little, Eastview, Lawrence Calvin Little, Westminster, and Durhia W. Little, Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Illinois; also a sister, Mrs. Edward Carmady, Baltimore; a brother, Henry S. Little, Smallwood; five grandchildren and and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral rites were held today, meeting at the late residence at 1:30 P.M. with further obsequies in the Deer Park Methodist Church, Smallwood, and interment in the church cemetery. The pastor, the Rev. Ira W. Shindle officiated. H. Bankard & Son, funeral director.
