Jean A. Rydbom, 79, of 161, S. Cedar St., Hazleton, died suddenly Monday afternoon in the emergency room of the Greater Hazleton Health Alliance, Broad Street Campus.
Born in Lattimer on Sept. 6, 1922 to the late Elmer and Jeanette (Drumheller) Rydbom.
Ms. Rydbom was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Hazleton.
Prior to retirement in 1990, she was employed as a teller for many years in the Peoples First National Bank and was later a new accounts officer.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was a sister, Dorothy Rydbom.
Surviving are sisters, June and Elma Rydbom, both at home.
Several cousins also survive.
Private funeral services will be held Wednesday from the Rosenstock Funeral Home, 229 W. Broad St., Hazleton.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Conyngham.
There will be no public viewing.
