VINTON -- William Erskine Hawpe, 74, of Vinton died Saturday evening (Oct. 30, 1976) in a Roanoke Hospital.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Hawpe; one daughter, Mrs. Jane Dewey of Richmond; one son, William K. Hawpe of Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Edward McClure of Greenville and Mrs. Dudley Brooks of Staunton; one brother, Thomas G. Hawpe, and four grandchildren.
Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton, is in charge of arrangements.
