Buddie J. Booher, 71, died at 10:35 a.m. Monday in his residence.
Buddie was born in Huntington County to the late Charles W. and Olive Helen (McKee) Booher and was a resident of Marion most of his life. He married Eva Stevens on November 22, 1957. She survives. He was the owner/operator of Bud & Sons, Inc. retiring in 1994 and was previously employed at Western Dodge and at Firestone. In his retirement years he drove cars for Perry Frank and U-save Auto. He was a U.S. Air Force Korean War Veteran.
Survivors include children, Mitch (Kathy), Cullman, Ala. and Kathy (Brian) Landrum, Marion; grandchildren, Ryan, Sean and Kyle Booher, Katie Landrum, Susan (Christopher) Smith, Stephanie (Beau) Burden and Chuck Cleghorn; great grandchildren, Allison and Kelsey Smith and Jake Burden.
He was also preceded in death by 7 brothers & sisters.
Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue with the Rev. Pete Frank and Perry Frank officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 1 hour before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Bud Booher served in the armed forces and then married Eva J. Stevens and they had two children. (Mitch and Kathy) They raised there kids in the city of Marion, Indiana and Bud owned his own Auto Repair shop in south Marion across from the old RCA/Thompson plant. Bud had several friends and family memebers who thought he was the best as he always was kind and had a smile on his face. Bud was always playing practical jokes on his family and friends. Bud died from lung cancer. Bud is sadly missed by his family and friends. RIP Buddie Jo!
