David Earl Lawson

Keeseville – David E. Lawson, 60, of Kent Street, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1997, at his home. Born in Clintonville May 4, 1937, the son of Earl and *Frances (Smith) Lawson.
He married the former Barbara LaBarr Dec. 12, 1975, in Keeseville.
Mr. Lawson worked as a mechanic at various garages for 25 years and worked for 17 years with the Village of Keeseville.
He was a 35-year member of the Keeseville Volunteer Fire Department as was a life member and past vice president of the Essex County Fire Police.
Mr. Lawson was an avid bowler, bingo player, hunter, woodworker and was Dale Earnhart fan.
Survivors include his wife; three sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Ann Costin of Keeseville, David and Jeanna Costin of Keeseville and William and Tara Lawson of Peru; two daughters, Jennifer Pardy of Cadyville and Helena Lawson of Kesseville; a sister, Agnes Waters of Plattsburgh; a half-sister, Charlotte Agoney of Las Vegas, Nev., a brother, *James Lawson of California; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and two cousins.
Funeral services was held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Laurel Phillips, pastor of the Clintonville United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial followed in Clintonville Cemetery.
