John R. Henderson, Jr., 49, 468 E. Washington St., Upland, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at home with his wife and family at his side. He was born in Marion to John Henderson, Sr. and the late Roda (Mansbarger) Henderson where he lived most of his life. He married Janell L. Bunch on October 5, 1974. She survives. He was a former employee of Associated Supply for 16 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved attending car shows. John's favorite past time was mechanics and restoring his 1964 Mercury Park-Lane.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Roda M. Henderson and sister, Anna Medaris.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. with the Rev. David Morris officiating. Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
