Mrs. Matilda, widow of the late Samuel M. Gist, died at her residence near Westminster, on November 2, from heart trouble and paralysis, in her 75th year. She was a daughter of the late John Little, and was born in the Myers' district.
She leaves six children---Mrs. Joshua Warner of Baltimore; Mrs. Joseph C. Bowers, of Harrisburg, Pa.; Mrs. Elizabeth Fowler and Miss Alice, at home; William B. and Benjamin F., nar Westminster. Her funeral was held at Deer Park M.P. Chapel, Thursday afternoon, and was largely attended.
