SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Wynona Lewis Smith will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Noel United Methodist Church Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Fortuna. Interment in Forest Park East on St. Vincent Avenue.
Wynona was born August 23, 1922 in Huttig, Arkansas and passed away Friday, September 4, 2009. She was a member of Noel United Methodist Church of Shreveport. Wynona was a homemaker.
Her husbands, Oscar Mills and John Smith, grandson, Mark Billings and two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Wynona will be missed dearly. Beautiful memories will be shared by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Billings of Shreveport, LA; grandson, Buck Legrand of Longview, TX; great-grandchildren Hillary Miles, Taylor, Sam and Will Legrand, and best friend Shirley Egan of Natchitoches, LA.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Miles, Bob Thornton, Vernon Bradley and Paul Hollingsworth.
