William Carson "Bill" Stogner was born in Chesterfield county, SC to Benjamin Franklin and Nellie Georgia Wallace Stogner. He passed away in Monroe, NC. For about 10 years before his passing my daddy had a lot of health problems. He had copd, diabetes, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout and possible fibromyalgia because he hurt all over. He told me in September before his passing that he keep praying and asking GOD to let him die because he got tired of hurting all the time. My daddy suffered a heart attack in July before his passing. He leaves behind his wife Melba Sue Eddins Stogner, 2 daughters Carolyn Stogner Griggs and Kathy Ann Stogner, 2 grandchildren Kyle Anthony Stogner and Kelly Renessa Stogner, 2 brothers Thomas Franklin Stogner and Bobby Stogner, 3 sisters Peggy Oliver, Betty Gainey and Georgia Hurley and numerous brother-in laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded by 1 sister Mavis Virginia Wallace Johnson.

cause of death: the Dr gave him antibiotics mixed with sugar water which caused his blood sugar to go over 800 causing his organs to shut down. pneumonia and copd.
