Mrs. Minnie M. Aurand, 85, Dundee died at her home Sunday afternoon, December 2, 1962. She was born December 16, 1876 in Elgin, the daughter of the late Louis and Julia Huber Phillip. She married Wesley Aurand September 28, 1897 and they lived in Elgin before moving to Hampshire. For the past 41 years she has lived in Dundee. Her husband preceded her in death in 1954. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Fred Raddatz, Mrs. Ingwall Gasia, Mrs. Russell Markham, all of Elgin and Mrs. Ben Markham of Schaumburg; four sons, George, of Elgin; Louis of Capentersville; Harry of Bensenville; and Walter of Dundee; three sisters, Mrs. Charles W. Shellenberg of Chicago; Mrs. Paul Sikorski, Riverside; Mrs. Frank Nessel of Maywood; tow brothers, Charles and Art of Chicago; 46 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Fredrick Funeral Home Hampshire and burial will be in the Hampshire Center Cemetery. [unknown newspaper, December 2, 1962, Dundee Il.]
