Mrs. Flora Baxter
Mrs. Flora Baxter, widow of D. Crosby Baxter, died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Burton Clarke, in New Canaan. She was ill for only one week.
Mrs. Baxter is survived by five children, Frank Baxter, of this town; Crosby Baxter, of Greenboro, North Carolina; Mrs. Burton Clarke, of New Canaan; Mrs. Harry Scofield, and Charles Baxter, of this town.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Scofield, on Ramapoo road. Rev. Elsie Stowe of Wilton officered.
Mrs. Baxter had lived in Ridgefield almost her entire life. She was very devoted to her family and was a very kind neighbor.
