COLLENE ADKINS, 72, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Barboursville, WV, was called home to be with her family on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2009, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born April 6, 1937, in Logan County, WV, a daughter of the late Alma & Barbara Terry Gue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Adkins and one daughter, Virginia L. Meadows. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Meadows-Ginn of Cincinnati, OH; two sons, Ervin "Ernie" Meadows of Huntington and Gregory Eugene Meadows; one sister, Genieve Adkins; two brothers, Johnny Gue of Barboursville and Jimmy Gue of Huntington; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be after noon Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
