She met and married Jeron Kriswell King aka "Charles Criswell King" and "The Amazing Criswell" in 1940. She wrote several plays and worked in off Broadway drama in New York City aka "Louise Howard". They moved to Hollywood where her husband was a television personality, psychic and syndicated columnist. They wrote several books. She was an exotic dancer aka "Halo Meadows". They were legally separated in 1974. She returned to Littlestown in the later years of her life.
