My paternal grandfather.
William "Clemmie" Galloway was the husband of Esther V. Kerstetter. They had two children, Ruth (Galon), and William Jr. He was the brother of Earl, Susie, and Jennie (Dunn).
Clemmie grew up in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvana. He moved with his children to Frankford in 1925, having lost his wife a few years earlier. There, he worked as a beamer and twister for the James Clapp mill. He was a Mason, and a member of the Concord Lodge #625.
My grandfather passed away at age 61 after suffering a heart attack. Although I never knew him, I heard many stories about what a wonderful husband, father and grandfather he was.
