Name listed as Anna Syrowa, which is the female form of Syrowy with 3 children Ludwik (Lewis) 3 yrs, Adolf (Adolph) 2 yrs and Roman, 11 months (a child being delivered to his parents in New York City), heading to Vivian, WV to be reunited with Carl Syroney. S.S. Kroonland sailed from Antwerp, Belgium on May 13th, 1905.
Mrs. Anna Syroney, well-known resident of the Rarden vicinity, died at her home Saturday morning about 6 o'clock. Death was sudden following stroke of paralysis which produced hemorrhages.
Mrs. Syroney was the widow of Carl Syroney, who was killed in a mining accident in West Virginia, four years ago. Surviving are her five children: Rudolph, Louis, Adolphus, Helen and Mary.
Funeral services were conducted from the farm-home about a mile south of Rarden. Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in the Newman Cemetery.
Anna Hezcko Syroney's original name was Syrowy the people at Ellis Island misspelt it.
