Curtis Andrew ?C.A.? Romines, 84, of Canmer, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at the Caverna Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Metcalfe County on Dec. 19, 1921, and was a son of the late Lucian Elbert Romines and Martha Fields Romines. Mr. Romines was a farmer and a member of the Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he was an Elder for over 40 years. He was a former president for Hart county Farm Bureau and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Estes Romines of Canmer; two sons: Sammy Romines and wife Aluria of Lewisburg, and Jimmy Romines and wife Carolyn Sue of Canmer; a sister: Lottie Fansler of Bowling Green; two brothers: Arnold Romines of Bowling Green, and Ralph ?Pete? Romines of Germantown, Ga.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Margy Ann Cash.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Brother Nolan Hensley and Brother George Sprague officiating. Burial will be in the Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer.
Friends may call today from 3 until 8 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Munfordville, and on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
