Claudette Elaine Lamb, age 53, Joplin, passed away Friday, August 01, 2008 at her home after a sudden illness.
Claudette was born September 14, 1954 in Joplin to Gloria Carpenter Mitchell and the late Ben Frank Mitchell and had lived in the Joplin area most of her life. She worked at LaBarge, Inc. for 10 years in production. She was a member of the Joplin Family Y; loved all kinds of animals; and was a Christian. She attended church in Carthage and had recently joined Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin.
She is survived by a son, Jason Lamb, Joplin; her mother, Gloria Mitchell, Joplin; one sister, Michele Burtrum, Joplin; three brothers, Ben Mitchell II, Webb City, Steve Mitchell, Joplin, Mike Mitchell, Newman, California; one grandson, Eli Lamb; one granddaughter, Hillary Lamb; her uncle, Monte Mitchell and his wife, Lydia, Webb City; and several other extended family members.
Claudette was cremated and in urnment with her Mother, Gloria Ann Michell, April 2016.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society, in care of Parker Mortuary.
