Funeral services were held Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. from Bayview Foley Chapel with the Rev. H.B. Shephard of Fairhope officiating.
Burial followed in Point Clear Cemetery.
Survivors include his parents, Mrs. Audrey Mattingly, Fairhope, and Walter D. Cummings, Summerdale; his step-mother, Mrs. Audrey Cummings, Summerdale; six brothers, David Keith, Walter Cummings, Jr., Dennis Cummings, Shane Mattingly, Larry Egebrecht and Gary Egebrecht; two sisters, Mrs. Darlene Nelson, Magnolia Springs, and Mary Jane Egebrecht, Summerdale; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Cummings, Brandford, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Cuylor Volking, Fairhope.
